MBISS AMERICAN/CANADIAN CH HIGH KALIBER'S MARKED CHIVALRY, JC
WRITTEN JUDGE CRITIQUES
“Stunning brindle dog with superior gate but encompassing the correct lift. Excellent head and eye. Well made throughout. Strong back held well on the move.”
Mrs. Roberta Hall, Saxonmill Afghan Hounds, UK - Best Puppy in Specialty AHCNNJ, May 2007
“The dog that took the class, High Kaliber’s Marked Chivalry, did it on pure movement. A heavily coated dog, he carried it well and exhibited a beautiful light springy gait that covered a lot of ground with each step. He caught my eye right away, and I was pleased to see that he held a beautiful outline on the stack without being manhandled. Smooth shoulders and a solid topline along with excellent fore chest completed a nice package that also held up well in winners competition. I’d like to see a bit more refinement in the head, but his beautiful movement more than made up for this.” …
“Two dogs, Jakar Winsong Elevate Your Game and High Kaliber’s Marked Chivalry fought it out for Best of Opposite, with the latter winning based on his ease of motion and smooth neck to shoulder. His handler did a great job of being invisible on the end of the lead – truly the best way to show a dog if they’ll co-operate.”
Mr. Emmet Roche, Qamari Afghans, USA – BOS in AHCA Breeder’s Cup, March 2008
“The BOB competition brought forward truly outstanding exhibits. Individually I could see why they were all Special. My eventual choice went to a young brindle male Ch. High Kaliber’s Marked Chivalry at just over 2 years of age who has everything going for him. Bags of ring presence, super overall balance, great head and expression, excellent on the move and stack and not overdone in any way whatsoever.”
